COVID-19 Update

We want to keep you updated about changes to our services during the COVID-19 pandemic. As healthcare providers we want to assure you that we are keeping your safety and that of the community as a top priority during these difficult times.

Our office is open during alert Level 1 and our building is open and accessible. We ask that all people accompanying patients log in to a tracing app using one of the available QR codes or provide contact details to our staff.

Finally, if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, sore throat, or difficulty breathing) or have recently been overseas or have overseas contacts, please do not attend your appointment but rather advise us of your situation if you have a particular ocular concern. COVID-19 can cause some mild eye redness which settles without specific ocular treatment and does not cause vision damage so if you are experiencing this along with the above symptoms it is better for you to be assessed in a unit that is equipped in the care of COVID-19 patients.

Dr Neil Aburn, Dr Helen Long, and Dr Brenda Breidenstein
